sailorpluto is the mysterious senshi who appears near the end of sailormoon R, telling usagi what's going to happen to crystal tokyo if she doesn't help chibiusa. she appears later in sailormoon S, still just as enigmatic. setsuna is her name, when she is not transformed. she is incredibly soft-spoken, mysterious, and quite serious. she hardly develops in the anime, unlike the manga. setsuna rarely appears, but when she does, you can be sure it's for a VERY good reason. in the anime, she is all finished up school, and is rumoured to be about 19 years old.

i love sailorpluto, even though she is neglected in the anime, whereas most of the other characters get a chance to develop. she maybe doesn't appear much, because she has the heavy responsibility of guarding the time gate. setsuna seems a bit lonely... she is close to chibiusa, though. lil chibiusa fondly calls her "puu". when transformed, she is very powerful. she controls time! all of her attacks, in my opinion, are the best.

sailorpluto's attacks and transformations

*pluto planet power, make-up!*-- pluto's first transformation. first shown in sailormoon S, but used before, since she's been a senshi for a long time.
*pluto crystal power, make-up!*-- pluto's second transformation... she uses this in sailorstars to transform into supersailorpluto.
*dead scream!*-- the most ironically-named attack name in all of sailormoon! pluto whispers this, and creates a purple planet-shaped ball of energy with her time staff (her talisman). the energy is blasted at her enemy.
*time stop!*-- although this attack isn't named in the anime, this is what it's called in the manga. pluto stops time with these words.. she uses it once to save sailoruranus and neptune from a helicopter that is exploding. it's "forbidden" for her to use this attack.
